| 1. Register (Free)
- In the login box to the left, create your own unique user login and password. If you select a user login that has already been taken, you will be asked to create a different one. The password has to be at least 6 characters long. Make sure you write these down!
- Complete the Registration page. Here you will need to enter your name, address, email address, etc. This is the required information to enroll you at Jefferson Community & Technical College. Make sure this information is accurate. It is what the college will use to contact you. Your transcript will be generated and maintained after you successfully complete your first module.
- Once you have submitted your registration, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided. This email contains a secure link to a page where you must confirm your account. Once you complete this step, you are registered!

2. Take the Orientation Course (Free)
- The short orientation course is free, fast, and easy. Its purpose is to show you how the site works and how to navigate through the modules. We also need to make sure you have all the necessary software and hardware.
- Make sure you complete the orientation course. We want your learning experience to go as smoothly as possible!
3. Select a Module or Coure and Start Learning
- Select a course and pay with PayPal. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can use a credit card via the PayPal site. If you are uncomfortable with online payment, please contact Heather Brown to enroll and pay via check.
- Select your path. Do you want to earn the full 16 college credit certificate in Volumetric Medical Imaging (VMI) or just take a module or two? 3DR Academy is set up to be flexible so that all students can benefit from the material.
- Once you have paid for your course, you will have access to the learning material. Each module is organized in a specific order to make sure you have the required concepts to progress to the next topic.
- All courses/modules are self-paced. Courses are set up for approximtely 15 weeks, although students can finish more quickly or slowly. Modules are like mini-courses and usually take a couple weeks to complete.
