The fundamentals of volumetric medical imaging will be introduced and practiced using the Visage thin client. Specific topics include: CT Physics and Windowing review, MPRs, curved planar reformats (CPRs), measurements, CTA and vessel tracing and the gated cardiac scan.
Supertechs must understand the tools they are using to create the diagnostic images used by physicians. This course is very different from typical 'applications training' provided by a software vendor. Regardless of what software you use, you will learn concepts that make you a better 3D supertech. We will learn best practices and appropriate applications for the various tools available in most software packages. | |||
