The anatomy of the human body will be examined through cross-sectional images from cadavers and CT/MR images. Emphasis will be placed on identifying anatomical landmarks and describing relative location with appropriate medical terminology. Topics include: head, brain, neck, spine, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and upper and lower extremities. Some pathology will be introduced.
Supertechs must understand anatomy both in 2 and 3 dimensions. This class is the key to your performance as a 3D technologist. With an emphasis on vascular, I will walk you through detailed anatomy from head to toe! |
