These modules cover the basic concepts and physics for any post-processing software.  Students logon to the Visage thin client software to complete the required labs.  The goal at 3DR Academy is teach the concepts of post-processing so that you can use ANY software on the market to create quality diagnostic images.

Even experienced technologists will benefit from these modules.

    Course Description:

This is an excellent course for anyone who is just getting into post-processing or even the experienced supertech!

Completion of the module requires a lab assignment using the thin client.

This module begins by reviewing basic CT physics. An indepth discussion describes the relationship between Hounsfield Units (HU) and windowing. Students explore the HUs of the body and how to manipulate the appearance of various structures by windowing in the Thin Client.
